Claude Bukowski arriva a New York dall' Oklahoma per arruolarsi nel corpo dei marines. A Central Park conosce l'hippy George Berger e i suoi tre amici, Claude si unisce e a loro per trascorrere gli ultimi momenti prima di partire per Vietnam...

Questa è la versione cinematografica del musical che si può definire il simbolo degli anni sessanta, il tempo dei figli dei fiori e della guerra in Vietnam. La trama è semplice ma molto commovente e le e canzoni sono veramente molto belle, sia dal punto di vista musicale che per le parole, le più famose sono Aquarius (riferimento alla cultura New Age) e Let the sunshine in (inno all'amore e contro la guerra). Il messaggio del film è chiaro e le tematiche rimangono sempre attuali.

Splendido... meraviglioso... lo adoro !!!
Belle le musiche, personaggi carismatici, in particolare George... storia da pianto finale con provvista di fazzoletti... : Grande !!!
E Aquarius è una delle mie preferite... (proprio in questi giorni la stanno usando per una pubblicità in tv)...

Sì anch'io lo adoro: è uno dei musical che mi ha fatto scoprire mia madre (il film ha esattamente la mia età ) e... ho pianto tantissimo!
Acquarius? Troppo bella!

ahhhh che meraviglia questo film.....
Posso dire che è uno dei film che mi hanno segnato l'anima!

Del resto quando lo vedi per la prima volta a 16 anni, e ti fermi dentro il cinema per rivedertelo due volte di seguito, quando esci di lì non sei più la stessa persona

L'altra sera l'ho beccato per caso su Sky e non ho potuto fare a meno di riguardarmelo tutto, e come tutte le altre 10 o 20 volte alla fine avevo un magone tremendo (ogni volta che lo vedo, una parte di me spera sempre che arrivino in tempo.......)
Let the sunshine in mi fa venire letteralmente la pelle d'oca, ma una delle scene che preferisco è il ballo sul tavolo di Berger

Stupendo, bellissimo, praticamente divino!
La prima volta l'ho visto a scuola, nell'ora di musica alle medie e ricordo di aver pianto come una fontana mentre tutti i miei compagni mi guardavano male
Poi proprio l'altra sera sono andata a riperscarmi il dvd e me lo sono visto due o tre volte di fila xD
Amo Let the Sunshine, è vero, fa venire i brividi...

Ahah Curiosando tra i vecchi topic mi sono imbattuta in questo e non ho saputo resistere!!!

Per chi non l'avesse mai visto consiglio di vedere anche il musical a teatro, perchè se il film è bello il live è spettacolare!
